Jill Sander RTW Fall 2012
Photos: Elle.com
I just love how Raf Simons has used pastels for most of his designs for the Ready-to-wear Fall 2012 collection. I also adore how he playfully added hints of fun with either a pop of colour or with the material, making the garments so minimal and yet appealing at the same time. No extra poufs and frills needed, obviously, because each piece of garment have been skillfully excecuted out, only with the intention to complement. Just look at how beautiful the designs are, with the cutting stunningly contouring the body of the models. Raf Simons has shown us how pastel designs can also be sultry at the same time by allowing the clothes to tastefully bare some skin. My favourite of the collection would be the pink coat with creme-yellow lining peaking out. It's simply georgeous and I am sure it will be perfect for some days where we would feel like taking on the look of macarons. Talk about having a sweet tooth.
xoxo
