No, it's not the 80's and yes, neon can be tacky in a way or another but it never bothers me. What started my love for all things Neon was the cambridge satchel in fluro yellow. And as much as I wanted to and could get it, the buckles seemed a little troublesome to me. So I went crazy and started stalking magazines for Neons, with hopes that the intensity of my love for the bag could make me overcome it's annoying buckle. But not only did it make me fall in love with the bag even more, I felt sucked into an orbit of wonderful, whimsical pieces that looked good enough to reserve a spot in the fridge.. What I love about all these pieces is that it is bold yet their intricate cut and superb workmanship seperates them from our vision of the 80's. I feel that it can brighten up any outfit/ day and will surely put smiles onto your companion's faces They can be worn during the daytime, preferbly over pastels or neutrals so people dont go blind or during the night, with probably a LBD or some more minimalistic apparels and perhaps the more adventurous could try adding some eclectic, funky prints since the neons are usually in block colours. I am loving the (5.) bag from Sass and bide's SS 2012 collection because it looks a lot like the Sims Plumbob, no? And how I would love to get my hands on a Furla Candy Bag. Unfortunately I am not a fan of see-through bag because of how the contents of my bag is always unsightly and confusing and ugly. Oh well, hopefully I would be able to overcome my issues with my ugly bag condiments and buckles; Neon bags are really good enough to eat! Anyyway, neons are definitely very loud statement pieces and should never be taken too seriously. Now lets just add some more colours (and many more) to our wardrobe so we can be happy people everyday. By the way, have you guys noticed that the last two dresses by H&M resembles Lime-encrusted Vanilla popsicles? They were introduced to me by three of my equally excited friends, Eugenia, Amanda and Desiree and I fell in love with it the very instant I laid my eyes on them! Ooh La La!
